EVENING COURSE OFFERINGS
Night courses are NOT online or hybrid classes. All the instructors are highly credentialed and have years of experience as EMT instructors.
This course is approved by NREMT and Orange County Emergency Medical Services. This course is tailored towards working students and those who cannot attend classes during the day. Our night classes has a limited Students/Teacher ratio for a more effective learning environment. It is set up to allow our students to complete the EMT course and successfully pass the NREMT exam. Our night courses run 2 nights a week, 4 hours a night for lectures and additional Saturdays for training.

Course Breakdown:
- 158 hours (Didactic and Skills)
- 24 hours (Clinical Ride-a-Longs)
Course Requirements:
• 18 years old by Registry exam date
• H.S./GED Certificate or College Diploma
• AHA or Red Cross BLS Card (Class offered during your course for 40.00)
• Copy of TB test (within last 6 months)
• Grooming Standards: Men: no beards allowed if doing clinicals. No visible piercings and tattoos must be covered for clinicals. Beards are allowed in classroom and tattoos can be visible in class.
Dress code: Classroom appropriate dress while in class. Dark pants and dark shoes along with a Protech uniform polo-shirt (included with tuition) are required for clinical visits. Facial piercings and tattoos are ok in class but you may need to remove or cover for clinical visits. Facial hair in the shape of a mustache is ok however beards may need to be removed for clinicals. (Religious exemptions are considered by our clinical partners )
