ACCELERATED COURSE
The accelerated course meets the same standards as the traditional EMT Courses and is approved by NREMT as well as Orange County Emergency Medical Services.
Our accelerated course has a limited Students/teacher ratio for a more effective learning environment. It is set up to allow our students to complete the EMT course and take the NREMT exam in a shorter period of time than the traditional courses. Our accelerated course is 6 weeks long. The course runs 3 days (M,T, & W) a week, 8 hours a day from 9:00am to 5:00 pm. On-line course work is also included in the total hours required.
2026 Course Total: $1,125 (Text book is not included and must be purchased separately)

2nd Payment : $725 (Due by end of 1st week)

Course Breakdown:
- 168 hours (Didactic and Skills)
- 24 hours (Clinical Ride-a-Longs)
Course Requirements:
• 18 years old by Registry exam date
• H.S./GED Certificate or College Diploma
• AHA or Red Cross BLS Card (Class offered during your course for 40.00)
• Copy of TB test (within last 6 months)
• Grooming Standards: Men: no beards allowed if doing clinicals. No visible piercings and tattoos must be covered for clinicals. Beards are allowed in classroom and tattoos can be visible in class.
Dress code:Classroom appropriate dress while in class. Dark pants and dark shoes along with a Protech uniform polo-shirt (included with tuition) are required for clinical visits. Facial piercings and tattoos are ok in class but you may need to remove or cover for clinical visits. Facial hair in the shape of a mustache is ok however beards may need to be removed for clinicals. (Religious exemptions are considered by our clinical partners )
